I do not usually shop. But when I do, I usually splurge.

Think about the things that I list. The things that I want. And when the I have the time to roam the mall or whathaveyou, more often than not, I buy what has been on that list. As in one time, big time. But I do not recommend that. It causes a bigger damage in the pocket. Moreso, more scrathes on your card.

I was set to buy three things yesterday (Yes. Since it's already midnight and I am overstaying here in the office to blog. My mom knows that I am not going home due to a meeting but that has been postponed to next week.) : Chucks in Hibiscus color, a shirt for my mom, a gift for my nephew and niece. Did I just say three? well, my nephew and niece that I am talking about are siblings. I was planning to buy something that they can share. But since my niece is also my goddaughter, my plan can change. I was undecided on what to get 'em.

I came off the three malls I went to empty handed. The Chucks are soldout. But the other mall has stocks but are not on sale. 400 bucks is something, dude. I shyed away when I was about to step into this girlie boutique to get my mom something. There were many ladies there. And if I step in, I would be the only guy. But I have went into ladies' boutiques before to get girlie stuff for some people. But yesterday, I just did not feel comfortable. Add the time pressure, as well. I have less than an hour to browse through the things inside. I did not want to be late for work. But I still, I have my budget for these things.

Fortunatelty, the polos I want from Bench were no longer available. I was about to get me a couple. That would roughly be 800 bucks.

Nay, I really am bad at shopping. I change plans 'til the last minute. But I almost always end up with a good buy :p

Alright. I am about to go now.

Napangiti ako ng aking pamangking lalaki noong Martes.

Bago ako pumasok sa opisina, nagpapabili ako sa kanya ng dalawang klaseng ulam sa may tindahan sa kalsada.

Hindi ko kilala yung nagtitinda. Pero alam ko na kapitbahay ko siya. Tubo sa aming lugar ang kanyang mga magulang, parehas ko. Pero di hamak na mas may edad sa akin yaong naninindahan. Nanay na siya na halos kasing edad na rin siguro ng aking nanay, sa aking palagay. Nito lang din siya muling bumalik sa aming lugar para manirahan kasama ang kanyang pamilya.

Ayun, sa kanya na ko palagiang bumibili ng ulam. Lutong bahay kasi. Mura pa. Hassel nga lang ang pagdala patunggong opisina. Isipin mo na lamang ang ilang kilometrong tinatahak ko sa araw-araw. Pero sulit din naman kung minsan. Nasasayahan na din ako sa beinte peso na kalahating order ng karne o sampung pisong kalahating order ng gulay. Inuuna ko ang kahit ano sa dalawa sa pananghalian at hapunan sa opisina.

Ngunit noong Martes ay nagustuhan ko ang kanilang sinigang na baboy. Sakto lamang ang iniabot kong pera sa aking pamangkin. 20 para sa sinigang at 10 para sa ginisang ampalaya. Kaso pagbalik nya ay sinabing 25 na raw ang kalahating order ng sinigang. Karaniwang pag-abot sakin ng ulam ay siya namang bigay ko sa kanya ng limang piso bilang kapalit ng pagbili nya ng ulam. Walang pasok sa eskwela kaya't alam kong pwede na rin ang limang piso pambili ng tinapay na pang merienda sa hapon.

Hinbol ko ang aking pamangki upang iabot ang isa pang limang piso dahil sakto nga lamang ang iniabot kong pambili. Inisip kong ang kulang na bayad na ibabalik nya sa tindahan ay yung para sa kanya. Pero sinabi nya na natawaran daw nya dahil suki naman daw kami.

Napailing na lang ako at nangiti.
